Mr. Fager, a native of St. Paul, Kansas, earned his Bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University in Biology with a minor in Physical Science. He taught high school Science for 14 years at Circle High School and coached Football and Baseball there for 10 years. While at Circle HS, he completed his Master’s in Educational Administration from Wichita State University. Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, he came to Iola High School to serve as Assistant Principal. He also completed district level certification from Pittsburg State University in 2010. The 2012-2013 school year is Mr. Fager's first as Principal of Iola High School. Iola High School strives diligently to provide all students the opportunity to become College and/or Career ready upon graduation. Many programs are offered to expand Leadership potential and Character education among our students. These programs have been recognized at both the state and national level.
